Andrew Trow – Founding Partner
Andrew is a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 14 year’s hands-on experience in fund management in special situations, debt and private equity. He specialises in illiquid and distressed valuations, company turnarounds, restructurings and exits. Andrew is in charge of Atlante’s portfolio due diligence and company analysis.
In 2007 Andrew established and lead the Illiquid Valuations Team at BlueCrest Capital Management, covering a range of unique debt and private equity type positions. He was also responsible for co-ordinating internal due diligence, analysing deal fundamentals and their development for valuation and monitoring purposes.
In 2009 he joined the BlueCrest Special Situations/Illiquids team and developed extensive hands-on experience in managing turn-arounds and sale processes across various emerging markets jurisdictions until 2016.
Since 2016 Andrew has been running Atlante’s African assignments out of Cape Town. He is also an investor and executive in three start-up businesses involved in food manufacturing and retail.
Andrew started his career in 2004 at Deloitte US and South Africa offices. He holds a BCom (Honours) in Chartered Accountancy from the University of Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
